Sale of a damaged vehicle:  Vehicles are sold as seen with no guarantee of fitness of use. The purchaser has been given every opportunity to inspect the vehicle to their satisfaction and they are responsible for ensuring that it complies with all current Road Traffic Acts before using it on the Public Highway. This vehicle is not to be used on public highways until repaired. 

V5/Log Books: Unless stated in our listings vehicles are sold without a log book (V5). Upon purchase of the vehicle you agree to take on the onus of applying to become the registered keeper with the DVLA and hereby agree to apply for the log book (V5) as soon as possible I.e upon purchase of the vehicle. 

The vehicle is being sold without a V5 due to the vehicle being a category s/n insurance written off vehicle and it being standard practise for the insurance company to destroy the V5 upon the vehicle being written off. V5’s/log book’s will need to be applied for via a V62 form to the DVLA. This can be done via a taxing post office or sent to the DVLA via post. 

Proof of ownership: It is our policy to request a copy of ID upon purchase so that we have evidence of the new keeper. Should you not be willing to provide this we hold the right to refuse the purchase. We will keep this information safe in line with GDPR.

Intellectual property: images we obtain whilst the vehicles are in our possession may be kept / used for marketing purposes. Should you wish for these images not be used this should be stated upon purchase and a written agreement will be formed. Should you have an issue with any images that are being used this must be expressed in writing for WK Salvage’s investigation. WK Salvage holds the right to refuse to remove images however we will endeavour to work with you where we can. 

Premises Access: You enter WK Salvage Ltd premises at your own risk. Whilst we endeavour to keep the premises well kept and safe given the nature of the business you enter at your own risk. WK Salvage Ltd will not be held liable for any injury or accident that occurs on premise.
